My client, a well-known Mid-Kent based company committed to excellence and customer collaboration, is seeking a highly skilled and people motivated Financial Controller to join a dedicated team. As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial management and activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial information.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial and Management Reporting: Prepare, support and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide business planning and resource allocation.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies. Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

About You:
You will need to be an accomplished finance professional ideally holding or actively working towards a relevant financial qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities having managed, mentored and developed small and mid-size finance teams, alongside an in-depth knowledge of broad financial principles, regulations, and best practices.

What`s On Offer:
