Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Tonbridge for Class 1 Drivers.

Our client is requiring drivers predominantly for fridge work delivering and collecting to and from RDC’s with a variety of other work potentially available.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

- A full Class 1 Driving Licence (Minimum 1 years’ experience)
- A valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card
- No more than 6 points or a DD or DR
- Good roadcraft with a proven driving background within refrigeration
- Shifts starting from 08:00 hours to 10.00 hours over a 7 day period (Average length of shift 10 to 12 hours)

The pay rates are:

- Monday to Friday £160.00 per shift + Holiday pay (PAYE)
- Saturday + Sunday £180.00 per shift + Holiday pay (PAYE)
- These roles would be suitable for applicants who are looking for ad-hoc or part time shifts and in the coming weeks full time hours.

Prior to commencing work with our client all drivers will be required to undertake an assessment. (Maximum 2 hours)
