Hays Specialist Recruitment

Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher in Folkestone and looking to secure your first job? Hays Education are urgently looking for ECT's for permanent and supply teaching opportunities.

Our Education division has 33 offices nationwide and is unique in having a dedicated permanent recruitment division that was established 8 years ago and works in exclusive partnership with over 200 schools within the state and independent sector to facilitate all permanent vacancies from initial advert to appointment. Each year we help place more than 500 NQT's in their first position.

Your new company
The Folkestone primary schools we are working with vary in sizes but are all well resourced to aid the development of their students. The schools are very committed to the local community and have fantastic extracurricular activities for their pupils. All staff at these schools are well-supported through leadership and continuous professional development in order for them to provide the highest quality of teaching.

Your new role
As an ECT, you will be required to bring fresh innovative ideas to the school and deliver high-quality lessons to provide students with the opportunity to grow and develop in their school lives. You are expected to complete all forms of planning and marking but will be supported throughout by senior teachers and year leaders. We are looking for NQT's that vary from EYFS to KS2 and can offer a fresh yet confident approach to teaching.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply for this role you will need to have a qualified teacher's status and be able to provide at least two relevant references from the last two years i.e. placement references. An ability to plan observatory lessons accordingly that are in line with the curriculum, whilst maintaining strong behaviour management skills in order to enhance a child's learning will help you excel in your new role. Schools will be looking for you to be involved in the ‘schools life' and would be desirable if you could offer something extracurricular.

What you'll get in return
- Priority access to our partnership clients
- A local office and local schools to work in
- NQT client networking events
- Support for completing application forms and interviews
- Choice of day to day, long-term or permanent roles
- Your own dedicated local consultants working proactively on your behalf
- Access to Hays training programmes, including annual safeguarding training
