Your new company is an established and extremely successful main contractor specialising in the utility sector now seek a project QS to join the team on a new framework contract in Surrey, Sussex & Kent. With projects ranging from £10 - £15 mill and typically lasting 3 years each, works are fast-paced and involve installing services in residential areas as part of larger frameworks. With multiple new schemes starting across the Southeast this is an excellent opportunity in a growing sector to join an extremely stable business in a key role. The company boast brand new, New York style offices in a vibrant expanding modern environment and well worth a consideration.

Your new role as QS you will be permanently office-based working closely with the site management and delivery teams overseeing all commercial and contractual administration matters including various monthly reports, measuring and requesting payments from client, paying subcontractors, ensuring contracts are being adhered too and generally monitoring and reporting risk. Works are all under NEC3/4 contracts and measured.

What you'll need to succeed that you will be a quantity surveyor or project surveyor with clear experience of working on NEC contracts, ideally in the utilities or infrastructure sectors. You will hold a minimum of three years' experience and be fully IT literate and comfortable working on site measuring works. You will be looking for a permanent role and be comfortable commuting to Surrey for the foreseeable
