Your new company
Hays Education have recently seen an increased need for local Teaching Assistants in Primary, and SEN Schools across Kent for day-to-day and long-term supply.

Here at Hays, we work with a number of schools across Kent, covering the areas of Canterbury, Thanet, Swale Medway, Maidstone, Bromley, Bexley, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Dover and Shepway and all the in between areas! This means as a Teaching Assistant working through Hays you will have local work in your local area covering schools that only you want to work in.

You would be part of a ‘bubble' of teaching assistants within the Kent area, which allows you to build relationships with schools in the area whilst retaining work flexibility.

Your new role
We are currently recruiting for a full and part time Teaching Assistants to join the team ASAP on a supply basis. We are looking for exceptional people to work with exceptional pupils who have a range of additional needs.

The appointed person will be expected to make a real and positive impact to the lives of children who have a range of care needs, life experiences and personalities that makes every day varied and interesting. You will be able to successfully build trusting student relationships and motivate and encourage student(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with living and learning tasks as appropriate.

What you\'ll need to succeed
*REQUIREMENT*: You must have a minimum of 40 days of experience in the last 3 years working in a UK based primary school and experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions.
