Position: Finance Business Partner

Role Outline:

On behalf of our client, we`re actively seeking a dedicated FBP for a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Finance and play an instrumental role in assisting their Independent Sales Division. Your duties will encompass a broad range of finance-related activities, from aiding in achieving key results to conducting financial appraisals for prospective business tenders and maintaining customer retention.

Your role will involve fostering relationships with multiple teams, offering strategic insight on a variety of projects, and delivering guidance to optimise performance and boost sales and margins. While the position predominantly involves remote working, you`ll be expected to visit the office weekly for team collaborations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyse the division`s vital performance indicators, such as sales and profitability ratios, and investigate any discrepancies in budgets or year-on-year movements.
- Design models to offer insight on crucial metrics.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to generate a strong commercial proposition for our customers.
- Offer strategic input on projects, including initial evaluation, regular feedback, and continuous tracking of success.
- Engage with managers to continuously challenge their plans, assumptions, and KPIs.
- Compile a weekly trading deck.

Candidate Profile:

- Recently qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Presently employed as a Financial Business Associate, Management Accountant, or Finance Analyst.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and to offer constructive criticism and problem-solving solutions.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling, with an understanding of trends and results.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP would be beneficial.
