A new opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s largest independent Global Logistics companies, who are currently seeking an Internal Sales Consultant for their team in Essex.
 

As the Inside Sales Consultant, you will develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers.

You will be following up on new business opportunities and responding to client enquiries (via email and telephone).
  
Internal Sales Duties: 


Support and work closely with the outside sales team on a day-to-day basisQuote for business by negotiating internally with trade departments and externally with customers.Sales administrative duties, such as creating and updating contracts using internal IT systems, email management and invoice queries.Provide cover when needed for team members and outside sales, e.g., holidays and sickness.
 

The successful Inside Sales Support will have a minimum of 6 months’ experience working in the Freight / Logistics industry in either Sea, Air or Road Freight, and experience communicating with customers either in a sales or customer service role.
 
We are keen to speak with self-motivated candidates who have excellent communication skills and can confidently talk and negotiate with customers as well as with departments.

Experience of the Internal Sales: 


Strong understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams etc.)Good command of the English Language
