Finance Business Partner Role

Your new company
Our client's expanding Finance team is seeking an ambitious Finance Business Partner to join them. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to handle core transactional work efficiently, and a track record of producing timely and accurate management accounts. Moreover, they should be adept at communicating effectively with both finance and non-finance teams. This role is based in Ashford, Kent.

Your new role

* Responsible for overseeing the entire month end process for three entities.
* Ensure accurate and comprehensive recording of financial transactions in accounting records, and completion of month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
* Prepare management accounts files for month-end, including variance analysis and commentary on exceptional items and key drivers.
* Monitor capital project spending and ensure relevant costs are capitalised, while closely monitoring budgets.
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting by defining and gathering inputs from key stakeholders.
* Foster strong relationships with business areas and collaborate to improve cross-functional processes.
* Provide financial analysis and insights to operational teams to improve the quality of supporting records and ensure accurate financial records.

What you'll need to succeed

* Previous experience within a similar role.
* Qualified, or part qualified, ACA/ACCA or CIMA
* Strong financial and commercial awareness.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
