We are currently seeking an Ocean Import Operator for our client, an independent Freight Forwarding company based in Essex.
 

As the Ocean Import Operator, you will be dealing with Imports from start to finish, booking jobs onto the system and checking arrivals, ensuring all documentation for the clearance team is filed.
 
Other duties of the Ocean Import Operator:
 


Arranging deliveries Dealing with Customs entriesAdvising customers of arrival of cargoQuoting ratesCreating files both manually and on the computer system
  

The successful candidate will have experience working as an Import Clerk / Import Operator / Import Coordinator and experience with Destin8 and CNS.

Requirements of the Ocean Import Operator:
 


Excellent communication skillsGood knowledge of MS packagesStrong organisational skills
