We are currently seeking a Commercial Boiler Engineer for our client based in Basildon, a commercial heating solutions manufacturer.

Your role as the Commercial Boiler Engineer is to carry out commissioning, servicing and repair of Industrial, commercial and domestic installations within Greater London.

On a day-to-day basis, you will commission service or repair equipment in line with manufacturer’s instructions and the prevailing regulations. You will also identify any risks regarding equipment and repair/report in accordance with Gas Safe regulations.

Duties continued:
 


Inspect the site and equipment for suitability to commission, service and repair the installed equipmentEstablish the general on-going performance of equipment in advance of conducting a serviceComplete Engineers report, detailing the boilers suitability for the installation and submission to the Service OfficeProduce typed reports with accompanying photographic evidenceAccurately record and order van stockLiaise with Service Office in relation to allocation of jobs
 

The successful Commercial Boiler Engineer will have extensive industry experience, along with good experience of commercial and domestic gas and oil boiler maintenance.

You will require a good understanding of on-site Health and Safety legislation and experience of associated controls and BMS (Building Management Systems) strategies

We are keen to speak with candidates who have a good standard of verbal and written communication skills, as you will be liaising with customers on a daily basis to establish the nature of repair issue.

ACS qualified in: CENWAT, CCN1, CPA1, CODNC01, TCP1 / TCP1A, BMP1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CCP1Engineering apprenticeship (desirable)LPG, OFTEC, CSCS, experience of renewables, G3 unvented hot water (desirable)Standard DBS check necessaryGas Safe registeredDriving license is essential
