Our client, who provide diverse freight transport services, are currently looking for a Sea Freight Operator handling Import and Exports; to join their team in Basildon.

 

As the Sea Freight Operator, you will be managing the freight bookings from collection through to final delivery, checking manifests once received and passing over relevant documentation onto shipping lines after they have been checked.

 

You will be dealing with customs clearances, as well as calculating and negotiating spot quotations.

 

The successful Se Freight Operator will have 5 years’ Sea Freight experience of both Imports and Exports, along with knowledge of customs entries and ideally, some knowledge of CargoWise.

 

We are keen to speak with confident individuals who have excellent communication skills, and good organisational skills.
