Our client, a commercial heating specialist, is currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer for their team in Essex, to provide technical and spare parts support to internal and external customers of the business.

 

As the Technical Support Engineer, you will be providing technical advice and support to customers, as well as supporting the sales department by providing a link between the sales team and clients.

The successful Technical Support Engineer will exceptional IT skills including Word, Excel and CRM system knowledge.

You will require a Mechanical Engineering degree, extensive knowledge in industrial, commercial and domestic H&V installation and maintenance, and essentially, commercial awareness.

 

Technical Support Engineer Duties:


Assist with training both internally and externallyAssist engineers and customers with troubleshootingIdentify / decide if customers need to be charged for a service or if the work is covered by warranty by assessing the status of engineers’ reports
 
 

Requirements of the Technical Support Engineer:


Excellent communication skills and telephone mannerKnowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) strategiesGood standard of Maths and EnglishKnowledge of British Standards and IGEUP
