Job Description

Sales Ledger Clerk / Credit Control

 Using Sage 200 & Credit Hound software
 Raise sales ledger invoices/credits
 Credit checks to maintain customer credit limits and minimise bad debt risk
 Credit control – through to court action if required
 Produce customer statements and process remittance advices
 Working experience of CIS scheme - payment applications / retentions (desirable)
 Filing and archiving as and when required
 Answer telephone calls and direct calls accordingly
 Processing of sales invoices
 Responsible for all Credit Control
 Dealing with invoice queries and discrepancies and liaising with colleagues regarding any accounts discrepancies

Qualifications & Requirements

 A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential
 A working knowledge of SAGE 200 is desirable
 Knowledge of engineering/generator industry would be desirable
 Ability to work on own initiative and work well within a team environment.
 Must have excellent attention to detail
