Y4 Teacher – Rainham – Part-Time
Main Pay scale up to M6 – Part-Time –January 2023

Supply Desk is currently recruiting for an experienced Primary Teacher to take a Y4 class from January, on a full-time basis. There is the possibility of this contract being made temp-to-perm.

The School

This is a Church of England School situated in Rainham. The staff and the governors of the school aim to serve their community by providing an excellent education for pupils of all abilities and backgrounds within the context of Christian belief and practice. They aim to provide a secure and caring environment in which pupils develop lively and enquiring minds, confidence and skills to develop independent learning and an environment that provides the moral and spiritual framework for them to understand the world in which they live.

They are one of the oldest and largest Church of England schools in Medway with approximately 360 boys and girls, aged 7 to 11 years old located in twelve classes. These classes are arranged on a year group basis with three classes in each year group.

The school is located in spacious grounds. These are well maintained and allow them to offer a wide range of outside activities.

The Role
• Teaching the Y4 UK curriculum
• Planning and Marking responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have previous experience teaching UK KS2 curriculum,
• Experience teaching other year groups is welcome
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
