Our client, an established Transport Company have an urgent requirement for a permanent Forklift Operative for an immediate start.

Reporting to the warehouse foreman, you will be part of an experienced and hard working team that ensure the smooth running of the warehouse.

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques
* Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area
* Processing, picking and packing orders in a timely manner, working to targets
* Ensuring orders are accurate and reporting any discrepancies
* Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment to set standards
* Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse procedures
* Moving goods using a forklift and pallet truck
* Driving company vehicles for deliveries/collections assisting with the set-up and de-rig at customer events

This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting and moving heavy items and covering a large warehouse on foot.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Regular overtime available at time and a half, Monday to Saturday and time and a half Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Salary is £22,000 - £24,000 + overtime.
