Our Client experts in import and export solutions are currently seeking a Seafreight Logistics Operator to join their team in West Thurrock.

The successful Seafreight Logistics Operator will have experience in a freight forwarding environment, commercial awareness and knowledge of the legal requirements for moving customs controlled products.

We are keen to speak with confident and self-motivated candidates who have excellent communication skills (both oral and written) along with the ability to use handheld devices and other computerised equipment.

Duties of the Seafreight Logistics Operator:


Update line rates, schedules etc.Receive and check orders from customersDeal with customer enquiries and requests for quotesLiaise with shipping companies and clients on a regular basisProcess and complete documentation such as C&Es and COOs and BoL correctly
Experience of the Seafreight Logistics Operator:


Understanding of freight processesNumeracy to at least level 1Project Management Skills
