Our client, a Transport and Logistics company who offer transport services globally by Road, Air and Sea, and they are currently seeking an Export Planner for their team in Essex.

 

As the Export Planner, you will be plan full and part loads from the UK to Europe, responsible for planning collections and deliveries.

On a day-to-day basis, you will arrange transport of cargo with approves hauliers, deal with customs issues, and prepare correct documentation.

You will communicate efficiently with internal and external customers, suppliers, and other offices via use of VDU's, telephone, etc., so having excellent communication skills is a good attribute for this role.

Other duties:


Liaise with other company offices in the UK and abroadCommunicate with drivers and hauliersInstruct the UK warehouses to load cargo to vehiclesCombine part loads with groupage, ensuring the highest level of service expected by customersCheck costs and negotiate ratesCreate CMRsGeneral Administration
 

The successful Export Planner will have ideally have previous experience in international trailer planning, knowledge of the Road Freight industry, and good financial awareness.
