Insurance IBA Accounting Technician



The role ...

To provide a professional and proactive IBA fiduciary accounting service in respect of business transacted with clients and insurers.



Examples of duties ...

- Reconcile settlements

- Cash allocation

- Preparing and issuing statements

- Arranging payments

- Carry out Ledger reports

- Obtain prompt collection of receivables

- Account investigation and query resolution

- Aged debt management



This is a dynamic and busy environment and offers the opportunity to work on both client and insurer accounts for bureau and non-bureau business.



This will suit applicants with an understanding of insurance and/or reinsurance accounting.

Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential together with a good team working ethic. The ability to communicate with clients, insurers and colleagues is essential.



Location: HYBRID - Colchester office for 1 day per week (Thursday) and 4 from home

Type: permanent contract

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience and skill set
