A Large Lloyd's Broker is looking for a Broker Back-Up to join their growing team. The role will be working from home with occasional travel to London office. The purpose of the role if to work within a designated Broker Support team in assisting Account Executives and Brokers with all aspects of Broker support.



Main Duties:

* Preparation of Broking information - accurate, timely, professional, and compliant presentations, renewal reports and other market/Client documentation as required;
* MRC/MRCE preparation for new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments;
* Peer review of Insurance documentation;
* Preparation of risk level data/management reports;
* Resolution of Accounts Queries, including actively chasing debt of allocated Clients to ensure collection within the company guidelines;
* Resolution of internal/external technical queries
* Submission of Firm Orders via PPL
* Ensuring Broking files are up to date, tidy and in keeping with Company guidelines and standards;
* Ensuring systems and applications are kept up to date and accurate with all information at all times;
* Completing mandatory training sessions to meet Company/regulatory deadlines;
* Adherence to all Company/regulatory policies and procedures as instructed;

Execution of responsibilities in a lawful and ethical manner in accordance with your contract of employment and Company staff handbook;

* Working with Line Manager to manage own professional development, including performance appraisal and identifying and meeting training needs in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Skills/ Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role
* CII qualifications preferred.

* Knowledge of International FI/ PI/ D&O business preferred;
* Ability to use own initiative and work well within a team;
* Experience of adhering to and maintaining systems/procedures;
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
* Ability to develop effective working relationships externally and internally;
* High level of IT competency including all MS Office
