You will be supporting people who are at risk of becoming homeless. Working in partnership with the local council, you’ll provide advice and guidance they need to rebuild their lives and live independently. The support you give will include help to: manage any mental health or substance misuse issues they may be facing; access housing benefits; get into education or employment; and set up a home of their own.

The role requires:

Excellent people and communication skills
Knowledge or experience of working with people who are homeless or vulnerable (candidates without this will still be considered – on-the-job training and support will be provided)
A full driving licence and access to a car (subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and Equality Act 2010).

Working Pattern: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with flexibility required

Contract: Fixed Term until March 2023
