Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Coordinator

Where you’ll work: Tonbridge, although this role is considered Multisited and there will be a requirement to move between sites as required.
Your pay: Tier 4 - £25,600 per annum pro rata.
Your hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday / 42 weeks per annum
Your employment: Full Time / Term Time and permanent.


We are currently looking to recruit an Autism Spectrum Disorder Co-ordinator to join our Additional Learning Support team.
The successful candidate will hold a qualification in Autism and have experience working with Neurodivergent young people, be a strong communicator with a flexible approach and excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, students, and external agencies at all levels.
The role will be responsible for planning, implementing, and reviewing the support provision for students who have Autism or other Neurodivergent conditions using the principles of positive behaviour support.
Working as part of the team, you will conduct assessments, advise, and provide training on the use and implementation of Individual Support Plans. You will lead on transition in and out of the College and work with individuals and groups to develop strategies to assist in overcoming barriers to achieve positive outcomes.
In addition to the minimum requirements detailed above, candidates will have excellent skills in organisation, planning, communication, problem solving, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of Neurodivergence is essential. Proof of a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths is also required.
