We are currently recruiting a Garden Maintenance Operative for our client, an established garden centre in Upminster.

This is for an immediate start. This is a temporary position however there may be an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate after a qualifying period.

The client has many different sites all over Essex and London, this one is for a pick up in Slough with jobs being all over the UK.

Duties will include: cutting and watering grass, possible planting, general clearance work whilst using electrical equipment such as hedge cutters and strimmers. Therefore a horticultural background is not essential but is preferred. You will generally be working as part of a team but there will also be times when you work alone and experience with sit on mowers would be advantageous but is not essential.

Hours of work will be different on each site, the pick up in Slough is at 6:00am with usual finish time of 2.00pm, Monday to Friday but this can change depending on the business needs so a 2.00pm finish cannot always be promised.

Due to the company vehicle policy you will be required to have a full UK driving licence.
