Job Purpose

Working as a Quality Assurance Analyst for a leading global speciality insurance provider. The Divisional Quality Assurance Analyst will assess key Divisional activities through conducting First Line Quality Assurance/ Compliance monitoring audits as required to fulfil the obligations of the company as an FCA regulated Firm.



Key Duties

* Reviewing Placement/ Broking file content against key risk criteria
* Providing focused testing on any identified areas of weakness as required
* Assessing adherence to the Firms core Risk Policies and defined procedures
* Working closely with the Firms Risk & Compliance team to ensure alignment of approach
* Helping support and improve competency levels of individuals through file observation feedback
* Providing oversight of the embedding of Risk and Compliance review recommendations
* Working with the Compliance Co-ordinator in the creation and production of Management Information for the provision of internal Divisional reporting
* Provide ad-hoc compliance and regulatory advice to members of the Worldwide Property team where required



Personal Attributes/ Experience

* Experience within Insurance industry, auditing or regulatory/compliance experience
* Experience of conducting file reviews and/ or audits within an insurer/broker
* Good understanding of (re)insurance broking market in so far as Open Market placements.
* Understanding of Lineslips and Binding Authorities would be seen to be an advantage.
* Sound knowledge of UK regulatory and insurance broking industry.
* Awareness of Contract Certainty requirements and Market Reform Contract (slip) standards.
