We are recruiting air-side Warehouse Operatives to work in the cargo division at London Stansted Airport. These are mixed shifts of two early, two late and one night.

These are all full time temporary on-going roles, with 37.5hrs as a minimum per week. This is the ideal opportunity for someone looking for a career within a vibrant and forward thinking airport. Training will be ongoing, with career progression opportunities for successful candidates.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Loading and unloading air cargo, mail and pallets into and out of aircraft; as well as handling within the warehouse as required. You will also be handling aircraft, including placing of chocks and cones, driving and/or operating ground support equipment including cargo tugs, cargo carts, aircraft steps, belt loaders, aircraft ground power units, tow bars, container loaders, water/lavatory service trucks, aircraft de-icing units, cargo dollies and passenger vans.

You may also be collecting and loading live animals and dangerous goods and will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety and security at all times.

We are looking for adaptable and enthusiastic team players who thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy a demanding role.

You will be required to provide a current and valid photo ID, proof of NI Number and a 5 year check-able education/employment history. You will have no unspent criminal convictions and ideally live within an hour commuting distance of London Stansted Airport. You must have a full driving licence due to the nature of the role.

Car parking and uniform will be provided as well as full training. There is also a discount of up to 80% available on all staff travel to and from the airport, as well as a staff discount at some airport retail outlets.
