Our client, is seeking to recruit a Multi-skilled Site Engineer to join their busy plant based in Tilbury. The main focus of this role will be to effectively complete the scheduled planned preventative maintenance activities and corrective works orders before adverse effect on performance. To be considered for this role you must be qualified in both electrical and mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will have welding & fabrication skills.

Your duties will include:

* Identify mechanical and electrical faults and completing of works, putting in place permanent resolutions for effective operation
* Ensuring that the plant operate in line with legislation
* Improving equipment condition and maintaining optimum performance and availability
* Adhering to all Safety related documentation for all maintenance activities
* Carry out plant PPM as per the CMMS schedules and respond to all issues
* Maintain records of works completed and supporting processes
* Respond to and resolve plant breakdowns, ensuring any temporary fixes are followed up with a permanent solution
* Leaving equipment in safe working order
* Input details into the CMMS system to update the status
* Review spares stocks and feedback any items needed for reorder
* Assist with maintaining high levels of housekeeping standards
* Completion of installation works around sites

This is a full-time, permanent role with the hours of Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, however you will be required to work a 12 hour shift every other Wednesday due to company needs. You will also be required to be on call 1 in 4, to cover out of hours, however you will be paid a fee per call out attended.

Due to the nature of the role, you must have your own transport and a full UK driving licence.
