Our client is seeking a General Industrial Maintenance Engineer to work on various heavy and light plants around the South East within factories, ships and remote land sites as well as their workshop based in Thurrock, Essex.

The role is varied and adaptable so requires somebody with a flexible attitude to their work as no two days will be the same. You will be required to work on pipework, pumps, engines, conveyor systems, manufacturing equipment & machinery and more.

This is a Permanent position covering the South East area, so to be considered for this role you must have a clean UK driving licence as well as hold an ONC or NVQ level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering.

Proven experience in a mechanical maintenance role is a required and you must have the ability to work as part of a team or alone. Due to the nature of the work, you must be available to attend call outs at short notice.

This is a full time Permanent role - 40 hour week with option of overtime.
