Senior Associate Engineer

£60000 - £70000 per annum + company car, performance-based bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate Engineer to join an innovative, growing client based in Romford.

The main focus of your role will be to deliver high quality design projects, ensuring they are kept within budget and required time frames. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a heavy workload, and make organisation & attention to detail a priority.

Your duties in this position will include but not be limited to:

* Completing desktop research for projects to include technical, financial, legal and construction considerations
* Undertaking utility design from first principles (MRM) to large scale sewer network modelling
* Producing detailed designs and technical specs to suit specific projects
* Selecting appropriate methods of construction contract by assessing financial risks and advantages
* Preparing contracts to include schedules, BoQ, tender selection, managing the tender process and award
* Managing the construction process by overseeing and liaising with the construction supervisor
* Preparing promotional literature and detailed proposals for meetings with clients
* Managing term contracts, client expectations, changes, programmes and resources to deliver on time
* Managing company H&S including RAMS, design risk assessments, high level company health and safety statements and manuals

To be considered for this role, you must have the ability to manage a team of Project Engineers and Technicians. The ideal candidate will be MEng/BEng qualified as well as a Chartered Civil Engineer.

Due to the nature of the role, you must also have a clean UK driving licence as you will be required to travel to site on occasion. Company car will be provided.

This is a full-time, permanent role with the hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.
