My Client is the sole manufacturer of their product in the whole of the UK, and their parent company is the world's leading manufacturer. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Manager with knowledge of despatch and back office services, and good knowledge of SAP.

The Role: Logistics / Customer Services Manager - 6 month contract

Support the Operational Logistics Manager ensuring the safety of the Customer Services team and the logistic suppliers on site.

Manage the flow of information and goods between customers, sub-contractors, logistic partners and suppliers

Provide high quality of service by the timely and accurate delivery of products

Provide accurate, reliable and timely Management Reporting data through the use of appropriate systems, software and procedures

Act as crisis coordinator for logistical or stock issues

Participate and communicate on customer complaints related to deliveries, quality of service using local and group wide reporting systems

Coordinate collection and delivery of product samples to customers as required



Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Logistics / Customer Services Manager - 6 month contract

Graduate level qualification or equivalent relevant experience

Management or Supervisory experience/qualification in a Despatch / Logistics Service

Experience with SAP, strong experience

Able to work to flexible time requirements

Strong experience in logistic, customer service, international trade, maritime

Leadership, able to implement a vision

Continuous improvement skills

Customer oriented

Excellent communications skill
