About the role: We are seeking to appoint a Librarian (Apprentice) who will be responsible for all aspects of library work. Amongst other duties, this includes supporting the school’s literacy focus, teaching library skills to pupils and overseeing the use, storage and security of library equipment. No previous experience as a librarian is required.

This role is offered as an 12-18 month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidate will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships. Click here to read more about LAT Apprenticeships.

Apprenticeship Summary
Annual wage: Actual salary £8,438, (£10,000 per annum)
Working weeks: Monday - Friday throughout the full year
Total hours per week : 37 hours per week (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship Programme)​​​​​​​
Apprenticeship duration: 12 - 18 months
Programme delivery type: All modules are delivered as online learning which can be completed at your place of work
Start date: As soon as possible
