Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Payroll and Accounts Assistant to join their established practice based in Maidstone, Kent

The role entails (but is not limited to)

- Preparing weekly and monthly payroll for a variety of clients
- Dealing with any payroll related queries
- Setting up payrolls
- Pension auto enrolment
- Assisting with company secretarial matters including the preparation of confirmation statements
- Bookkeeping
- Accounts preparation

A successful candidate will have the following experience

- At least 2 years experience working within an accountancy practice
- At least 2 years payroll experience
- Previous experience using Sage would be beneficial

The salary for this role is up to £28,000 (full time equivalent) depending on experience but is flexible for the right candidate.

Our client would consider candidates looking for either a part time or full time position
