Sales Advisor & Project Manager
£18-21k dependent on experience.
Folkestone, Kent
Noted in Style
Are you a positive and motivated individual looking for a new challenge in a relaxed customer focused environment?
We’re an established, close knit team producing customised stationery and bespoke packaging for the corporate, events & marketing sectors. Located in (mostly) sunny Folkestone on the south Kent coast, we pride ourselves on developing long-lasting and honest relationships with our customers through exceptional customer service and unparalleled product knowledge. This sales role is critical for the continued success of the business and requires a multi-tasking approach in the face of a highly demanding schedule and tight deadlines.
The role will be a mix of sales, order processing and project management. Primarily, you will generate sales in response to new business enquiries, relying on product knowledge to provide quotes and share samples. As a project manager, your time will be divided between liaising with suppliers, internal designers and our production team, overseeing everything through to dispatch. A personable and open approach to account management is imperative in order to retain excellent relationships with existing clients as well looking to create brand new business opportunities in a competitive sector.
The candidates we’re looking for will be able to demonstrate they are/have:
• Highly articulate with excellent communication skills, especially in writing.
• A desire to succeed and a hunger to ‘win’ the sale.
• Undaunted by engaging with people on the phone.
• A confident & polite manner and an ability to build rapport with professional customers.
• Focused, with superb attention to detail, even during times of high workload/pressure.
• Extremely organized, able to follow procedures and multi-task.
• Self-motivated, work without constant supervision and to take the initiative.
• A positive and proactive attitude; remain level-headed under pressure and a good level of common sense.
• Worldly, with good educational qualifications, especially in English and Maths.
• Good IT skills
Sales training and/or account management experience is desirable and will be an advantage, however, we will consider exceptional candidates without this if they meet all of the criteria and have the right attitude. The ability to learn a lot in a short space of time will be required.
We are an equal opportunities employer seeking a candidate with the right attitude and skillset. All applicants will be given fair consideration for work and will not receive less favourable treatment on the grounds of any protected characteristic.
