Imago

Do you want to make a difference?

That’s what we do at Imago.

We help some of the most vulnerable people in society to make changes and improve their wellbeing.

We’re looking for bright, hardworking individuals to join our established service in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley. It’s a great opportunity to support adults who need extra help for all sorts of reasons to navigate their way through health, social care and community services; think about what will best improve their health and wellbeing, and make it happen.

Navigators bring their own experience to the role. You might have worked in a formal setting, completing assessments and support plans, or directly providing social care or health services.

Perhaps you have worked or volunteered in a community setting, or are looking to give something back to your own local community. Or maybe you have personal experience of accessing services for yourself, a relative or friend.

It’s a really varied role, and you’ll spend time visiting people in their own homes or in community settings, speaking to individuals and families. You’ll get to know local services, build networks and work in partnership with other agencies. There are also opportunities to work alongside colleagues in a friendly team so you will feel fully supported in the role. Full time and part time roles available. Car driver essential.

It’s time to make a change.

Imago recognises that many people in our society experience discrimination or lack of opportunity for reasons that are not fair. These include: race, religion, creed, colour, national and ethnic origin, political beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability (including mental illness), HIV status, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity/paternity status, responsibility for dependants, appearance, geographical area, social class, income level or criminal record.

Imago aims to create a culture that respects and values each other’s differences. Imago sees these differences as an asset to our work as they improve our ability to meet the needs of the organisations and people we serve. We proactively seek to increase opportunities for inclusion, and celebrate diversity across our organisation and within the communities we serve.
