We are currently recruiting for Truss Operatives for one of our clients based in Shelvin, near Aylesham in Canterbury.

The job will involve working in a timber yard assembling timber frames ready for dispatch, keeping the yard clean and tidy, operating large industrial machines used to press the metal plates onto the timber frames, health and safety is a must and candidates need to make sure that they are keeping to the strict health and safety procedures that are set in place. This work is extremely manual.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 07:00 till 16:30 paid at £9.50 per hour, with a 30 min lunch break unpaid. Due to the location of the yard candidates need to be aware that when applying for this position there is no public transport to this area so own transport is essential.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working within a similar role, be flexible with working hours, be able to lift weights over 25kg, have their own transport (due to location) and be available to start as soon as possible.
