Are you passionate about providing an excellent customer service to members of the public, alumni and colleagues across the University? Would you enjoy assisting with producing reports on potential funders’ ability to provide philanthropic support to the University and be able to prepare key statistics in written reports that help fundraising activity?

If so, the role of Supporter Information Co-ordinator could be an exciting opportunity to work across two areas of the Development Office; alumni and fundraising. This role is offered on a full time, fixed term basis for 6 months.

As Supporter Information Co-ordinator, you will:
• maintaining the fundraising and donor database (Raiser’s Edge) to a high standard for use and ensure accuracy of data and compliance with Data Protection legislation
• act as a first point of contact for alumni and members of the public to ensure that their queries are dealt with in a prompt and effective manner
• identifying and gather information about potential charitable trusts, individual and corporate funder at major donor level
• help to archive and make alumni stories available to colleagues in the department and wider directorate

To succeed in this role you will have:
• GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
• excellent IT skills, particularly MS Office packages
• knowledge or experience of collating information, analysing and presenting key findings
• an understanding of the principles of Data Protection legislation

The Development Office is a dynamic, innovative and friendly team, responsible for fundraising campaigns, alumni engagement, managing alumni data, and delivering corporate events including degree ceremonies; in addition, the teams liaise with academic departments to support decentralised activities in this area.
