Cat B 3.5t Van Driver - Dartford - £11 per hour


We are currently seeking a Cat B 3.5t Van Driver to fill a position in Dartford. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Cat B Licence and must have 3.5t Van driving experience.

This position involves the delivery of furniture and home ware items in and around the south east area. You will be working as a team with your driver’s mate delivering into customers’ homes. This is mostly room of choice or doorstep deliveries with very minimal assembly required if at all. The company prides itself on outstanding customer service so good communication and people skills are a must!

The company works Monday to Saturday and shift patterns will fit into this with a 5 day working week. 6am starts with a scheduled 3pm finish.


Responsibilities of the Cat B 3.5t Van Driver

Operate a 3.5t vehicle to local areas, making deliveries, product pick up, etc.
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Cat B Licence
3.5t Van driver experience
Must have a clean licence
Verifiable references

Compensation of the Cat B 3.5t Van Driver
The starting salary for this position is up to £11 hourly, depending on experience.
