Resident Liaison Officer

£29500 - £37000 per annum

Central London, Greater London

Clarion Housing Group Ltd

Clarion Housing Group is the country's largest housing association with 125,000 homes nationwide. We're a social landlord, providing affordable homes overwhelmingly for people who can't meet their housing needs on the open market, a property development company, a charitable foundation and a repairs and maintenance service. By 2040 Clarion will be the undisputed leading housing group for good quality, fit for purpose, well managed and sustainable private rent homes

We're now looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to facilitate the smooth running of a number of building safety projects here at Clarion, and ensure we have an effective liaison between customers, different departments across the Group and its contractors.

Principally, you'll be responsible for leading on local resident engagement strategies for blocks where Clarion is carrying out remediation works to external wall systems, and you'll need to tailor local resident engagement strategies so that communication plans are in established and key milestones are met.

We'll look to you to carry out person centred fire risk assessments, liaise with health and safety regulatory bodies including the local Fire and Rescue Service and HSE, and communicate critical safety information in higher risk buildings to residents.

This is a very customer-centric role with a focus on achieving high customer satisfaction levels. As such, you'll need to work closely with the local housing team, Estate Services, Health and Safety, Customer Contact Centre and contractors to ensure clear communication and consultation on such matters as the impact of building safety work, complaint management and safety concern reporting. Experience of developing working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders is therefore critical.

Other responsibilities include the following:

* Organise resident meetings and produce communication materials using a variety of methods
* Assist the Project Fire Team in facilitating access to specific sections of buildings and flats and act as a conduit between the Project Fire Team, contractors and customers.
* Represent the Project Fire Team at meetings and on project teams

You'll have demonstrable experience of working on large building safety projects, a good understanding of technical issues and of project management methods, and proven experience of a front line customer focused role in the social housing sector.

We're seeking responsible professionals with an understanding of fire safety, a proven ability to communicate effectively, and experience of dealing effectively with complaints and customer feedback.

If you're someone with an understanding of social housing legislation and tenancy management who enjoys working with people in the community, then we very much look forward to hearing from you.

In return, we offer a highly competitive salary, a Group Bonus Scheme and other benefits, including a defined contribution pension matched up to 7.5% and generous life assurance.

Closing Date: 16th December at midnight
