Fees Ledger Manager (Full time) King's School

approximately £30,000 per annum

The King's School

Based in the stunning setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey – a World Heritage Site – The King’s School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.

We require a Fees Ledger Manager to undertake and control all fee income and extras due to the School and ensure that funds are collected and properly recorded to assist in the maintenance of accurate and timely accounting records.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
 To ensure the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of fee invoices.
 To ensure that the pupil/ parent database and sales ledger are accurately and properly maintained.
 To control and maintain Direct Debit collections for Fees, Foundation, Kings Society and Recreation Centre
 To ensure that extras are posted promptly and accurately against the pupil/parent accounts and all relevant control accounts are reconciled monthly.

The post holder will report into the Finance Manager for day to day line management, however ultimately will report into the Deputy Bursar (Finance & Logistics).
