We are currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant to join our team at the head office in Tonbridge, Kent. The successful candidate will work as part of the sales team to promote the business’s range of health and safety, work at height, workplace safety and plant and equipment training to new and existing customers. The candidate will need to have a positive can-do attitude, be highly organised and committed to our vision of providing high quality and effective safety solutions to customers.

The successful candidate will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

- Work with clients and support their HR/Learning & Development teams to fulfill both their personal and organisational training requirements
- Proactively contact potential new and existing clients by telephone to promote and increase awareness of our training course portfolio
- Be the focal point within the business, responding to enquiries and requests for information and services from clients and staff
- Update and maintain the marketing database and training management system as required
- Provide customer service and support to those purchasing our products and services
- To support the marketing of the company through news items, social media, and newsletter generation
- To attend exhibitions and networking events as required to meet and promote the company’s services with both potential new and existing clients
- Identify and stimulate new business opportunities within the market

The ideal candidate must possess the following Skills, Experience and Qualities:

- Strong communication skills both over the telephone, written and in-person
- Account management and customer service experience
- A proactive attitude and time management skills
- Enthusiasm, confidence, and positivity in the workplace
- Ability to work well under pressure in meeting targets and KPIs
- Computer literate, specifically with Microsoft Office and Training Management Software
