Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Accountant, to join their practice based in Canterbury.

The role entails

• Preparing corporation and personal tax returns
• Preparing statutory accounts
• Preparing VAT returns
• General bookkeeping
• Overseeing the training of junior members of staff
• Dealing with client queries through Zoom

A successful candidate will have the following experience

• Part qualified or qualified ACCA or ACA
• Experience using Sage and Iris
• Audit experience is desirable but is not essential
• At least 3 years experience within a firm of accountants

Salary for this role is between £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
