As project manager, you will work across the business delivering key projects. Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope and to a high quality. You will have a meticulous eye for detail, strong communication & time management skills.

An agile workflow is essential, breaking projects into story/delivery points to provide accurate project progress reports throughout.

Working alongside project owners you will deliver on roadmap/ad-hoc projects. Responsible for understanding the project to a fine detail, collating all requirements and assets across the business and managing deadlines. Working with systems analysts (web & Boss), you will translate the high level brief into technical requirements and specifications. Understand how analysts and developers are breaking down tasks and reporting on the deadlines. Present in sprint planning and report back timings to project owner and team.

You will run regular project reports and updates for the team and owner to keep everyone up to date with any blockers/movement on tasks.

Building a firm understanding and relationships of all departments across the business, knowing who you need certain information from.

Responsibilities

● Manage end-to-end projects from conceptualisation through to final delivery.

● Work with the project owner to create an overarching project brief defining scope, objectives.

● Work with PO to formulate high level brief, and build understanding of technical specification

● Work with analysts plan project into sprints and create a detailed project roadmap

● Work across the entire business collating informations/assets that are required for the project

● Keep project team up to date with project progression

● Arrange kickoffs, standups and retrospective meetings.

● Create & track reports on projects - measuring delivery vs original plans, highlighting risks of missed deadlines, complications. You will keep project owners up to date on all areas of the project on a regular basis.

● Solid understanding of our internal systems, giving you the ability to field high level technical questions.

● Document projects within Confluence keep a record of all decisions, meetings and changes to original specifications.

● Hold the project team accountable for deadlines and deliverables.

Key Skills

● Working knowledge of JIRA & Confluence

● Agile Project Management

● Collaborative, friendly approach to project delivery

● Ability to work under pressure and multiple projects simultaneously

● Proficient in Excel / Google sheets/Sprint reporting

● Excellent communication and ability to be assertive

● Understanding of web development methodologies

This role is based at our Head Office in Tunbridge Wells with some remote working.
