L&Q are looking for a talented and organised Energy & Innovation Assistant Project Manager to assist the Energy Efficiency Project Manager and coordinate new and existing projects within L&Q Energy which Includes Feed in Tariff and Solar PVs. Whilst working in line with L&Q’s overall vision and values, to provide housing that people can be proud to live in. The Energy Project team manage a wide and varied project program which includes energy efficiency and income generating projects with an emphasis on coordinating contractors, controlling quality and monitoring progress in line with KPIs, whilst ensuring efficient communication with residents of L&Q properties.

The Energy and Innovation Assistant Project Manager reports to the Energy Efficiency Project Manager and sits within Energy & Building Services. The workload will be varied with the opportunity to work with multiple business areas and teams as well as diverse internal and external stakeholders, to ensure that L&Q Energy meets its objectives.

The Energy and Innovation Assistant Project Manager needs to have enthusiasm, high levels of attention to detail and excellent customer service. You must have existing knowledge of data management, contractor management, energy efficiency and renewable technology in housing, together with resident engagement and the environmental challenges faced.



Add to this proven communication, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word.To be considered for this role candidates will need to be able to demonstrate:

· Excellent customer service skills

· Previous experience in multiple project coordination

· Experience working in a support function within Project Management or similar

· Stakeholder Management, contract coordination

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work with a varied number of IT systems and MS Programs and Packages

· It is desirable that candidates have a knowledge of or experience within Social Housing, Local Authority or in the Energy Sector.
