Location: This position will be based in Medway at the Trust Central offices at New Horizons Children’s Academy.

We are looking for a Head of Communications and Marketing to join our forward thinking, large Multi Academy Trust.

The Thinking Schools Academy Trust is a successful family of schools that work together to improve the life chances of all its children and young people. Our Trust currently consists of 17 schools (12 primary and 5 secondary), based across the Portsmouth, Deal and Medway areas. The Trust was nominated for the TES Employer of the Year award in 2018 and is in the top 10 Multi-Academy Trusts in the country for GCSE performance.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join us at an exciting time for our Marketing team as we continue to grow our Traded company; Thinking Creative; and develop our brand as we work with both our Trust schools but also develop business opportunities with other local schools and businesses.

What you will need to succeed:

Be a communications and marketing professional with experience of leading a team
Knowledge of marketing tools, techniques and software
A proven track record of building relationships with businesses
Excellent communication skills
Able to work quickly and efficiently in order to reach the best outcomes at all times
The ability to be versatile and resilient in challenging situations
Able to maintain confidentiality inside and outside of the workplace
