A key part of our income to run our hospice services comes from our in-house Lottery. We are looking for a Lottery Trailer Towing Operative to tow our lottery trailer and set up/close up at sites and events across Kent, as well as moving and handling gazebos when required. You will have previous experience of towing a trailer or caravan.

As this position is self employed, the individual will need to invoice Demelza for work carried out, payable at £50 to £70 per job dependant on location of site or event, as set by the Head of Lottery and Gaming.

The role will involve weekday and occasional weekend working, as well as extensive moving and handling. This role involves working for a few hours in the morning (approx. 8.00am) and late afternoon (approx. 4pm). Job share will be considered.

Access to transport to and from the Kent hospice in Sittingbourne is essential to collect and drop off the trailer and vehicle. For insurance purposes you must be aged over 21, with 2 years post-test driving experience and the ability to tow a trailer as part of your licence. A vehicle will be provided for your use.
