Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Don't miss out on this apprenticeship opportunity! We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior CAD Technician (Apprentice) to join Clarion Housing Group's Land and Deeds team.

Land & Deeds Team

The Land and Deeds team is responsible for the management and on-going administration of all the title deeds and related legal documentation for Clarion Housing Group.

The CAD Team sits within the Land and Deeds team and is responsible for the production and maintaining of the organisations Estate Plans which are mapped in accordance to our Land Registry title deeds, we assist teams with Land Registry compliant disposal plans and any other drawing requests.

About the role

The Junior CAD Technician will work alongside the CAD team to assist in the production and updating of the organisations Estate Plans. The Estate Plans are a two dimensional, pictorial view of what we own mapped to our Land Registry Titles. New plans are produced following completion of a scheme. The plans are then regularly updated to keep them current and up to date with sales and information received across the business. Part of you learning will be to understand the teams set drawing and filing procedures, how to purchase information needed and develop their CAD skills.

As part of you training you will also have to opportunity to work alongside the other teams within the Land and Deeds Team to obtain a wider understanding of the team as a whole.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

* A willingness to complete the relevant qualifications and training to achieve an Apprenticeship
* The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point and the Internet in order to complete relevant duties.
* Proactive with energy and enthusiasm and have an ability to have a flexible approach.
* Maths and English GSCE or equivalent.
* Understanding of technical drawings preferable with knowledge of AutoCAD (desirable but not essential)
* Understanding of scanning techniques preferable but not essential as full training will be given

About the apprenticeship

We offer the opportunity to study for a Level 3 Engineering Design and Draughtsperson which will also include workshops and shadowing different areas of the team. You'll develop new key skills and behaviours which will support your personal development and progression. Where you have not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths, you must do so before taking the end-point assessment.

If your application is successful then you will be invited to attend the Clarion FastTrack programme which will support you in preparing for the interview and taking part in taster activities which links to the role.
