Salary: £24,202 to £32,463 per annum, pro rata

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Lecturer to teach across a range of Horticulture courses at Hadlow College’s Canterbury Campus. The courses will be mainly RHS, but applicants must be able to deliver other courses at other sites if necessary. In addition to the requirements detailed above, applicants will have teaching experience in a practical and/or classroom setting, together with a teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one. Courses are delivered across a range of provision types including schools, FE and HE, so applicants will also need to demonstrate that they can be adaptable, resourceful and resilient, have excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

This is a part-time position, working 22.2 hours per week at the Canterbury Campus. There may also be a need to teach at other sites and candidates must be flexible.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, staff discount schemes and free car parking, this post also attracts seven weeks holiday each year (excluding bank holidays).
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK. Where applicable a prohibition check will be carried out.
