Do you have previous experience of working/studying in an internationally focused environment? Have you got recent office experience gained in a busy working environment?

If your answer is “yes” to both questions, this full time, fixed term (until 17 April 2020) opportunity to join our successful International Recruitment team could be for you!

You will provide administrative support to the International Recruitment team, primarily focused to the network of overseas representatives, to ensure the smooth running of international student recruitment and marketing activities.

As International Support Officer you will:

actively manage the admissions and support of international students
co-ordinate logistical arrangements for staff travelling overseas
run statistical reports from the various University application and student records databases
support current international students, particularly over the orientation period
To succeed in this role you will have:

GCSE English and Maths grade C or above
cultural awareness
previous experience of maintaining records/databases
ability to cope in a high pressure environment
International Recruitment is responsible for:

the recruitment of overseas i.e. non-EU students, currently around 17% of the full-time student body;
the development and support of the University’s International Recruitment Strategy;
the support for the development of programmes for overseas students;
in collaboration with other professional services, the induction and welfare of overseas students at the University; and the promotion of the University’s image overseas and raising our international esteem profile.
