Telephone Mortgage Adviser
Based in Rochester
£25,000 Per Annum Basic Salary (£40,000 Per Annum OTE)

We are looking for an ambitious sales-orientated candidate to join an expanding team of phone-based mortgage advice staff based in Rochester, selling services and products within the mortgage industry.

Joining a highly reputable firm with offices across the South East, applicants will ideally be naturally confident, keen to learn and have a passion for helping others.

Full training will be provided with the long-term goal of achieving an industry recognised qualification, with guaranteed earnings during the first three months of £25,000 per annum, plus benefits. First year on target earnings are upwards of £40,000.

Working five days per week, you will work three Saturdays out of four. Working 8:30am to 5pm, there is a late finish of 7pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide a mortgage advice service to new and existing clients, through both inbound and outbound calls.
• Conduct initial conversations with prospective clients to gather information about their financial circumstances.
• Provide appropriate financial advice to clients.
• Offer additional financial services, including life cover and general insurance products.
• Adhere to the strict working practices of a compliant environment (full administrative support is provided).

Person Specification:

• Have a confident telephone manner with the ability to overcome objections and sell services and products.
• Have the ability to build relationships with customers.
• Be flexible and have the ability to think on your feet.
• Have a strong work ethic.
