Job Title : Gardener – Team Leader

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Salary : £11 per hour

Experience Required: Gardening experience and qualifications essential.

Coolings Garden Centre near Sevenoaks, Kent has a reputation for both excellent customer service and growing outstanding plants. Our Coolings Gardening Services Team extends this experience all the way to the customers’ gardens.

Our team of knowledgeable and friendly gardeners visit customers’ premises and complete various garden work, either on a regular maintenance contract or as a one-off garden tidy. This maybe anything from weeding, cutting lawns and hedges, to planting small trees.

We are looking for a team leader, someone reliable and smart who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in and leading a close-knit team. As you will be representing Coolings whilst visiting customers’ homes, you should be polite with excellent customer service skills. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to learn and expand their skills as they are welcomed into this highly ambitious and rapidly expanding team.

You should hold an RHS Level 2, or equivalent and have a good plant knowledge. Heavy lifting will be involved so you must be physically fit. Clear and concise reports of the work carried out will be required at the end of each day.

You should hold a full, manual UK driving licence as you will be expected to drive the Company vans. Own transport arrangements to and from work are essential as public transport to Coolings is not reliable.
