Do you have Material Planning experience within a FMCG environment?

Our client based in Kent is part of a worldwide organisation and are keen to add an additional member of staff to their Planning team.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Planning Database, whilst also recording stock levels.

Duties will include:
Measuring and reporting the materials and WIP stock holding.
Maintain on site stocks, controlling reloads and downgrades where necessary.
Issue all stock reports as necessary.

Operational Controls:
To ensure minimisation of stock write off through effective planning.
To assist the Planning Manager in monitoring stock taking procedures, highlighting stock imbalances to the Planning Manager or Operations Manager.
Updating and general housekeeping of the Access system.

Knowledge & Skills
The successful candidate will ideally be suited to a fast paced environment, with demonstrable experience in a manufacturing environment, have good interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task, with excellent attention to detail.
A basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel is a must.
Previous experience of ERP/MRP systems would be beneficial.
