KING'S SCHOOL, INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE

SUNDAY MATRON (NON-RESIDENT) - 8:30am – 10:30pm – term time only

The International College will be re-locating to its permanent, purpose-built accommodation in Canterbury, April 2019. The College will teach up to 80 international students in Years 9-11 with the aim of sending them successfully onwards for the sixth form. Its students and staff will benefit from being part of this historical institution.

Matrons play an integral role in our pastoral team and we are seeking someone who is experienced in the pastoral care and support of young people. The ideal candidate will also have energy, an enthusiastic approach to life, a desire to contribute to the creation of a happy and stable environment for the boarders in their care, and a good sense of humour.

Applicants who hold the BSA Roehampton Professional Development Certificate in Boarding are encouraged to apply. A willingness to participate in this course would be required if an applicant does not already hold this qualification. A full driving licence would be preferred.

The role is part time (14 hours per week over one day) throughout term time, with a few days of duties both before and after the published term dates.
